The 2016 BDIA Dental Showcase seems to have crept up on us quickly this year, and with just over a week to go now, we’re now busy preparing for what we hope will be another great show.
An indicator of a ‘great show’ for us is primarily ensuring we have lots of opportunities to share our knowledge with clients to help them achieve their dreams, be that of practice ownership or moving forward to the next stage of their career plans. We don’t believe in delivering a hard sell to those who visit our stand over the course of the three days at the show, as this doesn’t fit with our brand values, plus it also doesn’t work!
So if you’re planning to visit the event next week, what are your reasons for going? Do you have a plan?
When going to a show as a delegate, it’s always good to prepare in advance and know what it is you’re looking to achieve from your visit. It’s good to have a plan in mind as to which exhibitors you would like to speak to or which stands you definitely want to spend time at. Time is precious, and it goes extremely quickly when you’re wandering round an exhibition such as the Dental Showcase.
Over the past couple of years, at many of the shows we’ve exhibited at, we’ve seen increasing numbers of delegates attending to catch up with friends or former colleagues, as well as those who are looking for a job and to gain some overdue CPD hours. In addition to these reasons, many delegates also appear to be using time at exhibitions to seek out ‘trusted advisers’. This could be a dental supply company, an accountant, or any other person or company that you’re confident will offer you trustworthy, solid advice to help you make the right decisions.
So, if you are looking for a trusted adviser about buying or selling a dental practice when you visit the Dental Showcase next week, then look no further. The Frank Taylor & Associates team can be found on stand K30 and will offer you honest, trustworthy advice every time.
